Green Goddess Skin Smoothie



This delicious drink can be taken on-the-go as a quick and balanced breakfast or for a mid-morning snack. Rich with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, it is not only great for cancer and chronic disease prevention, but, it is also a nice way to reduce redness and inflammation of the skin and the joints. 


Choosing a healthy option to nourish your body will leave you feeling full and satisfied. This is one way to ward off hunger, which may escalade and cause you to choose a less healthy option. The satisfying sweetness from the naturally-occuring sugars of the fruit quench a 'sweet tooth', and the healthy fats and protein offer a nicely balanced meal. 


Green Glowing Skin Smoothie



2 big handfuls of spinach

1/2 banana

1/4 c pineapple

4 strawberries

1 c almond milk

1 T cashew butter

1 T chia seeds

Pinch cinnamon


Blend all together! Sprinkle top with a few chia seeds and serve in wine glass or mason jar!
